Ok, clearly, I don't really keep to promises so good, but this time I'm really back. After theatre and singing performances, a month in Japan, a week in Sydney and preparations to move there for studies, I am back and kicking and making those pieces we all love, (so much for humility). You'll still have a month more of me. I'm also going back into shoe painting, which I shall start on a different site. Those will quite obviously more expensive as they'll more often than not be personalised and custom made, and handpainted. A pair takes about a week to 2 to complete. I'll still continue this in Sydney, so not to worry.

Lady Luck (click on photo to enlarge)

Bracelet time! Orange/brown and crimson red bicone crystals draped around a couple of silver leaves of different shapes, and ending off with a 4 leaf clover just for luck. It is 17.5cm long, if you need adjustments to lengthen or shorten it, just let me know. One piece only.

Coral Red

Coral Red (click on photo to enlarge)

I bought a red version of the glass pendant used in the previous piece Where Sand Meets Sea while I was in Vietnam and I decided to do something similar, using different beads and crystals. I love the way it turned out with the mismatched pieces, in terms of shape, blending nicely together in different shades of red with hints of gold here and there. I've used a pinkish red biconvex crystal this time, a deep red hexagonal bead and a red cube with gold circular patterns on it. The chain is approximately 55cm long, inclusive of an identical pinkish red crystal attached along the length of it, and the double looped chain adds an extra 3cm. One piece only.

Where Sand Meets Sea
Sunday, September 2, 2007

Just got back yesterday from Ho Chih Minh City, Vietnam and I did quite a bit of shopping there and found some lovely crystals, pendants and stones. Wasting no time at all, I've already made a necklace out of a blue glass pendant i purchased there.

Where Sand Meets Sea (click on photo to enlarge)

I like this piece, oh yes I do. It reminds me very much of the point on the beach where the blue, white and golden brown colours of the sand, seafoam and sea collide. The blue glass pendant is from Vietnam and is complemented by the brown and gold spherical beads, as well as an off-white biconvex crystal. The chain is approximately 56cm long, inclusive of an identical off-white biconvex crystal which is attached along the length of the chain. The double looped chain attaching the glass pendant to the chain adds an extra 3cm. One piece only.

Blooming Sweet

Ok, here's the keychain that I've mentioned, and as you can clearly see, it lives up to its name in more ways than one. It consists of a handpainted button (I bought it painted, in case any of you are doubtful of my painting skills), a pink disc made of seashell, and silver leaves. I already had enquiries before I uploaded the photos, so do hurry before someone reserves it before you. One piece only. Click to enlarge photo.

Update
Saturday, August 25, 2007

Hey everyone, tomorrow I'll be putting up a photo of a new piece, a keychain called Blooming Sweet. Look out for it.

Anyway, in the month of November, do look out for my Semi-i'm-precious Stone Collection in which you'll see pieces that have pink lace quartz, amethyst, tiger eye, jadeite, tourmaline, jaspar and many more. Talk about absolutely sexy and sophiscated pieces, so keep your eyes open for it.

If time permits, I will not only be having such a lovely collection, but possibly an End of the Year sale. It's a possibillity. for now, TA.
